Tardes más tranquilas

Qué hay en las slides

1. Slide 1

for the 6 pm meltdown crew

5 small things for calmer evenings

2. Slide 2

   Snack at 4:30, not 5:45

Half of “bad behaviour” before dinner is just hunger. A plate of fruit buys you an hour.

3. Slide 3

   Give a 5-minute warning

Kids fight the switch, not the bath. Say what’s next, then set a timer they can see.

4. Slide 4

   Hand them a real job

Washing the peas or setting the forks. A child with a job doesn’t need your attention another way.

5. Slide 5

Ten minutes of you, phone away

Full attention, their game, their rules. It fills the cup that the whining is trying to fill.

6. Slide 6

   Keep bedtime boringly the same

Bath, teeth, two books, lights. Predictable is calming. For them, and for you.

7. Slide 7

   over to you
